We all returned from Puerto Vallarta last Saturday evening and are going through withdrawal as we reluctantly return to our regular lives.

Our week at Villa Celeste exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were perfect for our group of eight. In addition to our comfortable bedrooms and baths, we loved what we dubbed the card room overlooking the pool (which we also loved!) where we enjoyed many spirited games throughout the week. And the location! There cannot be a more perfect spot in all of Puerto Vallarta. We quickly realized we didn’t want to spend much time elsewhere. Our only dinner out was at the Vista Grill and most lunches were just down the road at the Lindo Mar grill.

And we cannot say enough about Pancho, Javier and Frances. So sweet, generous, capable and hard-working! All we had to do was think of something and Pancho made it happen while making it all seem effortless. From fresh fruit and crispy bacon every morning to wonderful grilled fish, fabulous chicken mole and the best fresh guacamole and pico de gallo every afternoon, Javier outdid himself. And Frances kept everything spotless. We were so happy with them -- you are indeed fortunate to have such a loyal and dedicated staff.

We all hope we can return to Villa Celeste again. As one of our most “Type A” friends said, “I have never been so relaxed on a vacation!”

"Gorgeous villa in a spectacular setting."
Our extended Minnesota family enjoyed every aspect of Villa Celeste during our stay in March of 2012. The rooms and common spaces were spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean (the beds were especially comfortable.) The layout of the villa and grounds allowed for great times together as well as individual privacy. The setting – close to the water in a quiet cove – made for spectacular sunset views. There’s a beachfront restaurant steps away, and downtown Vallarta is very accessible by a nearby local bus that runs regularly. But some of the best food we had in PV was prepared right at Villa Celeste by Javier, the Villa’s chef. The Villa is managed by Vallarta Shores and the hospitality extended by their staff was outstanding. Francisco is a superb director of the house, making sure that our every need was met, and Francis kept our rooms and common spaces immaculate. All three graciously helped us work on our rough Spanish. When a different rental agent seriously defaulted on promises for continuing vacation accommodations in PV, Daniel and the staff at Vallarta Shores stepped in to find an excellent alternative for our party of seven. When thinking of Puerto Vallarta, call on Vallarta Shores, and if you have a large group, try to book the Villa Celeste.

All of my friends agree that Villa Celeste is like heaven on earth. The first group arrived Jan. 4th and left Jan. 14th with smiles on their faces. Poncho, Javier, and Francis treated them like royalty and they all want to be included in more of my group trips. The second group arrived on Jan. 14th and will be here until Jan. 24th. I was finally able to arrive on January 10th and felt like I had come back home.

Jorge, I would like to find out the availablilty of Villa Celeste in April, beginning the 2nd week of April (when the rates return to the regular rates) and also in November.

I booked Villa Celeste for my 40th birthday party and 8 friends joined me to celebrate, including 2 from London. I didn't know what to expect as I had never rented a private villa, though I had been to PV several times before. Any expectations I had were blown away. Upon arrival, Francisco the butler, helped us with our luggage and asked if we were ready for a margarita. That set the tone for the best 40th week I could have imagined. Javier the cook made some delicious meals, Francisco was very attentive to us, and Francis the maid kept our rooms very tidy without us really even noticing she was there.

The two master suites are above the rest of the villa. My partner and I stayed in the nicest of the two. The room was spacious and uncluttered, and the bathroom was incredible. There are enough social areas that all 9 of us could gather in one of them together, or find our own space in either our rooms or one of the other areas. We probably spent more time in the pool than out of it though.

In the afternoons, Javier would prepare ceviche, guacamole, and salsa with chips for everyone. On my actual birthday, 4 other friends had a stopover from their cruise ship and spent the day with us. We cleared it ahead of time, but Javier had no problem making extra food for a group dinner.

We hadn't even left yet before we started talking about booking the villa for the next year. Highly recommend it.

"Wow!"
This was our first trip to PVR and I think we were spoiled a little our first time. Our friend was turning 40 and he wanted us all to go down to PVR for his birthday. He found Villa Celeste online and booked it. I was pretty impressed with the pictures online, but I have to say nothing prepared me for the actual beauty and impressiveness of this place. The views are amazing, the location is great (you are close enough to the beach that you could have a conversation with someone on the beach while you are standing on the front deck! Each room had it's own charm and bathroom. Air conditioners in each room was very nice! This is true tropical luxury on the beach. The house easily accomodated the 9 of us. The morning sunrise coming over the mountain and illuminating the water, the sunsets at night were amazing as there is no obstructions between you and the ocean. You can see almost the entire bay from anywhere on the property. Keep an eye out for the iguanas basking on the roof tops.
The staff: Franciso, Javier, and Francis took very good care of us the entire time. Francisco is a true gentleman and exellent employee. He ordered a birthday cake and had it delivered and took care of the bill for us to pay him later. The night of our friends birthday he and Javier brought the cake out singing with giant somberos on their heads! Javier is an excellent cook! Definitely try his carne asada and the Cream de Pobalo soup!
We are already talking about going back each year and trying to get back to Villa Celeste each time.

My family loved Casa Celeste!!!! The wedding was beautiful. Diane/Mark Dalton and Natalie Dalton/Jason Sanders.

We will be there again in November 2011....it is an unmatched setting, right on the beach, right on the bay, right in the center of the PV universe!!! Villa Celeste has it all....including a very good staff who work hard to meet our every need. This is really a haven for us, and we want to return every year. Nothing is left to be be desired!!!
