Sand, sun, and a passion for sport come together as Puerto Vallarta hosts the 2025 Mexican Beach Volleyball Championship. Taking place from May 30 to June 1, this exciting event will bring together the best volleyball teams from across Mexico for a thrilling weekend of competition right on the beach.
Now in its fifth edition, the tournament will be held on the stunning sands of Holi Beach, located in Puerto Vallarta’s northern Hotel Zone. Alongside top Mexican teams representing different states, Canadian players Abe Salmon and Adam Einarson will also showcase their skills on the sand.
The championship features a variety of categories, including Professional, Youth 2006-2007, Youth 2008-2009, and Open divisions for both men and women. A total of 150,000 pesos in prize money will be awarded to the winning teams.
Organized by the Mexican Volleyball Federation in collaboration with local and state sports authorities, this event promises intense matches between prominent national teams. Over two days, athletes will compete not only for the national title but also for ranking points that could open doors to international competitions.
Supported by the Vallarta Municipal Sports Council (COMUDE), the Government of Jalisco, FMVB, and various sponsors, the event highlights Puerto Vallarta’s growing reputation as a top destination for beach sports.
