Puerto Vallarta International Airport concluded 2025 with a record 6,947,700 passengers, achieving a 2.1% increase from the previous year. December was particularly strong, with 712,900 passengers, reflecting a 4.0% growth compared to December 2024.
The airport’s success is marked by robust demand in both domestic and international markets. International traffic reached approximately 3.8 million passengers, slightly surpassing domestic travel, which logged over 3.1 million passengers and a significant 10% increase for the year.
Notably, December saw a surge in domestic arrivals, with 268,000 passengers reflecting a 7.9% rise year-over-year. This balanced growth underscores Puerto Vallarta’s appeal, especially among North American travelers, and positions the airport for continued development moving forward.
